You can run MAKEDEV (as root). Not sure of the options, but you should be able to find info on MAKEDEV (man MAKEDEV?). I think you would use something like MAKEDEV ttyS* (or maybe ttyS1). MAKEDEV is in /dev I believe. On Thu, 24 Dec 1998, Neuhofer, Georg wrote:
