[opensuse] IPv6 dead on Tumbleweed?
Hi Folks, This this the correct venue for Tumbleweed? I've got a desktop with Tumbleweed that I've been using for testing. But I noticed that it's not able to obtain a global v6 address. This is on a dual-stacked network with many other boxes, including Leap, that work fine with v6. It seems that I can kickstart it by first: systemctl disable wicked.service Then: dhclient -6 -v eno1 This gives me a nice global address and all is well until the next reboot. Does anyone have a clue? is there a problem with wickedd-dhcp6? Is this the right place to ask? No, you should use opensuse-factory@opensuse.org.

Did you read "man dhclient" and other mentioned documents there? Did you inspect the firewall log? -- fr.gr. member openSUSE Freek de Kruijf -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Yes on reading man, but I don't think the issue is with dhclient. Nothing stands out in the firewall log either. systemd is running wickedd-dhcp6, and is getting a lease, but it doesn't make it to the network stack somehow. I'll poke around a bit more and will move to factory if I can't figure it out.
