[opensuse] Only half of RAM usable? 128GiB installed, OS shows 59GiB
Hello, freshly istalled Leap 15.0 to a new pc. BIOS detects and physically there are 16 DIMM slots used, each with 8GiB memory. dmidecode also shows these values (see below). but there are max 59GiB allocated: # free -h total used free shared buff/cache available Mem: 59G 323M 57G 17M 2.0G 58G Swap: 128G 0B 128G any tips how to troubleshoot this further? next thing I checked was an hit... The OS was installed with kernel parameter mem=65536M (this was for troubleshooting on an other system).. and this parameter were inherited... Sorry for the post..
