[opensuse] moved svs repos to new server and now users cannot commit.
Hello, I created a dump file from svn running on Suse 9.3 with SVN version 1.4.3 to a Suse 11.1 server running SVN version 1.5.2. Folks are able to check out, but when they attempt to commit they get an error of; "Commit: svn: Commit failed (details follow): svn: Authorization failed." The ../conf/passwd file was ported over to the new server with all the user details. Any ideas on how I can fix this? Thank you, James -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
The problem was in the svnserve.conf file. You cannot have any white space before the command. I had removed the # and had not deleted the space. Now that the commands are flush against left side border the problem was resolved. James -----Original Message----- From: James D.
