Hello list, I just install SuSE 10 beta2. There is a problem with cd 4 and 5, they doesnt work at all. There was no problem with controlling them but with the installations there was no way that my pc could install those 2. Is it possible to use cd 4 and 5 from SuSE 9.3 in this case, or do i have a bug, or just a problem with my CD-RW??? Ben Henderson

It is probably your CD burner. I had no problem with disc 4 or 5. When you first start the install, you have the opportunity to check out all the cd's before going ahead with the installation. do that. Walt

The problem seems to be the cd-rws that i used. those 2 where not good but never used. Ill try it again. Further more it seems to me that all is running smoothly i hope it will stay this way. I have to knock on wood for this. Ben Henderson

Probably yes, CD-RW is a bad CD type to burn important things like OS. Try burning the ISOs of those CDs on a CD-R media. And check the md5sum of the ISO image too. Good luck. _______________________________________________________ Yahoo! Acesso Grátis - Internet rápida e grátis. Instale o discador agora! http://br.acesso.yahoo.com/
