Re: [SLE] what to do with .rpm files
Jay,
The best thing I found was located inside KDE, called KPackage.. it a
ton better than trying to use Yast to load or update packages

If I download a program in .rpm format, how do I install it? When I tried to install it with YaST, I got an error that /usr/lib/rpm/rpmrc does not exist; it in fact does not exist (the /usr/lib/rpm directory doesn't exist). I do have a copy of the rpm binary in /home/eckles/.kde/share/bin/, but when I try to run it I get the same error.
Thanks,
