Has anyone had any problems actually running the WP8 install script. I have gunzipped, untarred and then run the Runme. I get the message Error: Nothing new to install, is I answer y. And something about reading the readme if I answer n. Did you install the program once? THat somewhat happened to me... the first time I installed I told it to install in /opt but then I couldent find the xwpm. So I removed the files in /opt and reinstalled (with a new copy) to /usr All was well from then on. Expand GUI* (gzip -d GUI*). 1. Extract the files from GUI00 (tar xvf GUI00). 2. Rename the GUI* files so that now they are lower case. DON'T extract the files from them. 3. Run the Runme script. Same problem here. First I ran tar-zxvf on them and the runme executable wouldn't do anything. Then I redid it according to exact instructions. First, gunzip them, then tar xf them. It worked then. Very weird that tar -zxf wouldn't do it, and that the individual steps of gunzipping and untarring had to be done.
