[opensuse] KDE and Windows "moving" to the left screen
Hello. On my OpenSusE 13.2 box I have two screens and I'm using KDE with an Nvidia board. Some time (1 hour +- as far I could check) after that both screen are in power save mode the windows on the right screen (btw the primary screen) are moved to the left screen. Did anyone else notice this boring effect and is there any way to stop this "migration"? Hi Marco, I'm running openSUSE 13.2 KDE4 on a laptop with an nVidia card and two external displays. I haven't experienced your problem. However, if I disable one or both of the external displays, e.g. to temporarily reconfigure or 'undock' and move the system without powering down (using 'nvidia-settings,' btw,) the 'orphaned' windows do 'migrate' to the adjacent active display. If I extrapolate this to the behavior you've described, I'd say your 'right screen' is actually powering off. Just a guess ... :-) hth & regards, Carl -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
