I am wondering if anyone else has experienced the following error messages on using ./ns-install on the Communicator 4.5 installation script:

Yes. I've had a broken pipe error with every install from 4.05 on, and I got both with 4.5. It doesn't seem to do any harm...

I'm not sure what you're getting at Pradeep. If you mean do javascript and applets work on visited sites then yes, as well as they have in previous versions (which is to say that they work fine the majority of the time, although I've had the occasional lock-up, usually fixed by killing netscape, then restarting and revisiting the site). Phil, I've been having problems running java applets on netscape even ones that I have on my local machine. I remember seeing warning messages while installing NS 4.5 but I can't quite recall what they were. I chose to ignore them as my browser came up and worked "OK". Plus of late I've had my system hang on a couple of occasions while I was on the browser. Guess I'll go reinstall and try it again. -Pradeep - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
