This one is pretty easy. In /etc/modules.conf, make a line that says: alias char-major-108 ppp_generic And run `depmod -a'.

Any suggestions? I've read that it worked with this modem, but not on my computer :-(

I'm sorry that I can't help much with the modem much, but the one success you had was because of the ppp problem above.
