[opensuse] TV-out with nouveau
Hello: This is on openSUSE 12.2 with KDE3 desktop. I would like to use tv-ot with the nouveau driver. xorg-x11-driver-video-nouveau-0.0.16_20120321_ab7291d-3.5.1.x86_64 libdrm_nouveau1-2.4.33-2.3.2.x86_64 The nouveau driver is loaded (lots of NOUVEAU in /etc/Xorg.0.log) but the TV-screesn stay blank. xrandr reports:
xrandr xrandr: Output TV-1 is not disconnected but has no modes Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 1280 x 1024, maximum 4096 x 4096 VGA-1 connected 1280x1024+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 444mm x 355mm 1280x1024 60.0*+ DVI-I-1 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) TV-1 connected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
The video card is Nvidia FX 6200. TV out worked with nvidia driver nicely but due to a bug I've replaced that driver. How can I active TV-out in this setup? It is not HDMI, it's a legacy TV-out (S-video/composite) Thanks, Istvan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
