I have run netstat -a, to see which ports are listening in my box. I have found out that port 20000 is "LISTEN"... This the line: tcp 0 0 *.*:20000 *.* LISTEN What does it mean?? What port is 20000? what could be running there?? I have the same line about port 6000, which I think should be the X Server. Port 2000 is netplan, the daemon for plan ,ie. pland. 6000 is dxpc, IIRC, this is the X compression protocol. In the future, you can find out for yourself by searching /etc/services.
