[opensuse] Leap421 - play mpeg?
Just a quick question - does Leap421 play MPEGs in e.g. kaffeine out-of-the-box or will I need a detour to packman for certain things? -- Per Jessen, Zürich (20.8°C) http://www.hostsuisse.com/ - virtual servers, made in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

As far as I know, you always need the detour. Or buy the codecs from... what's the name... ah, Fluendo. Using GStreamer. That's the "legal" way. The wiki doesn't explain it, only mentions it: https://en.opensuse.org/GStreamer -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 13.1 x86_64 "Bottle" at Telcontar)
