Does anyone know whether SuSE/Novell will keep Red Carpet going? Will they integrate it with YaST somehow? It's such a good program with its ease of use and simple layout I just would hate to see it disappear. On a side note: does anyone know if red-carpet can be used with the apt repositories? (Does my question even make sense?) Thanks Jack

Yes, it does. The only thing that is different are the administrative files that tell the rc client where to look for the packages information. So if you have those administrative files point to the apt repository you're ready to use rc on suse-9.2 ;) -- Richard Bos Without a home the journey is endless

One thing I wish they'd do with it, is make a toggle option to turn on the "info" for each package when selected... I rather dislike having to use an extended menu to view the info each time and have the description pop up in a new window-- seems like a lot of extra clicking to me...
