Well some one's gotta do it. It's time to start bugging the SuSE folks about the next release. I guess I will kick it off. What's the outlook for 6.0? What will it have as new features? What version of KDE, glibc, kernel, etc.? Will it be released in time for the Solstice celebration?
You mean SuSE 6.0 for the Alpha, of course; right? Hey, SuSE people, don't forget us alpha types out here; you wouldn't forget us, would you? Regards, Jep Hill jep@jephill.com - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e

No, we won't :) The alpha port is in the works. Don't bug us for a release date, it'll be definetely after SuSE 6.0-i386... OK... I got ipx working. The sys volume mounted. etc. I can print to a local printer. I can print to a win95 shared printer via smblicent after spooling locally through apsfilter. I can't seem to get the hang of nprint. I'd like to spool locally (using apsfilter to format) then re-queue to the Novell print server. Sorry. Not gettin' it. Guess I have too much happening on this mo-chine. -------------------------------------------- Brad Shelton bshelton@ole.net On Line Exchange <A HREF="http://ole.net"><A HREF="http://ole.net</A">http://ole.net</A</A>> Detroit News <A HREF="http://detnews.com"><A HREF="http://detnews.com</A">http://detnews.com</A</A>> - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e

Been asking this for months. Been said here many times after 6.0 and the switch to glibc, the alpha port will be one of the next things on the agenda. -M - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
