Hi: I have a question about the behaviour of the .depend.start file in /etc/init.d. When I put entries into this file for daemons that I want to be started in a specific order via the parallel startproc facilities (RUN_PARALLEL=yes in /etc/sysconfig/boot), I find that these new entries that I add are being clobbered after running yast2 runlevel and save settings. Where must you put these so they don't get persisted? thx Wendell MacKenzie _______________________________________________________________________ Notice: This email message, together with any attachments, may contain information of BEA Systems, Inc., its subsidiaries and affiliated entities, that may be confidential, proprietary, copyrighted and/or legally privileged, and is intended solely for the use of the individual or entity named in this message. Edit the INIT INFO blocks in the /etc/init.d/* scripts (Required-Start, Should-Start etc.) and run insserv scriptname afterwards. Regards, Christian Boltz --
