Question for Networkmanager users
Is there a way to have a panel icon or otherwise tweak NetworkManager settings in KDE? I've yet to find a way. -- Cheers, Trey ---- "Ninety percent of the time things turn out worse than you thought they would. What's NetworkManager. I've never heard of it.

Well, as with any app, you can add it to the KMenu. Once it's there, it can be added to the panel.

Understood, but NetworkManager doesn't appear to be in the KDE menu. The daemon is running, but I'm looking for some way within KDE to look at and change the settings. -- Cheers, Trey ---- Mythology, n.: The body of a primitive people's beliefs concerning its origin, early history, heroes, deities and so forth, as distinguished from the true accounts which it invents later. -- Ambrose Bierce, "The Devil's Dictionary" Linux salamander 2.6.11.4-21.9-default i686 GNU/Linux 9:44am up 7 days 12:38, 4 users, load average: 0.31, 0.09, 0.09

Having not run NM along with KDE, I must ask, does it not dock into the system tray and make itself available from there?
