I just installed SuSE Professional 7.3 on my FX290, and I noticed something I have never seen before with XFree86. It is a small sparkling band of pixels that follows the mouse. I've used Xfree 4.0, 4.1, and 4.2 on this laptop with FreeBSD, and I've never seen this before. I wonder if it is something particular to SuSE's agp module? I have yet to go line by line thru the XF86 config file, but I will do that to see if anything is unusual there. Rob.
