I've just upgraded to 9.1 from 9.0 (actually, I re-installed from scratch). I've noticed two Konqueror file manager problems: 1. I can't widen the Navigation panel - each time I drag it to the right to widen it, it bounces back to where it was. I didn't have this issue with 9.0, so I've checked to see if there is a "lock" option but can't find one. 2. More seriously, when I click on a directory, I get an error: "There appears to be a configuration error. You have associated Konqueror with inode/directory, but it can't handle this file type." I'd appreciate any assistance on these. Thanks, Des Dougan Director, Information and Computing Services Vancouver Community College 604-871-7525 ddougan at vcc dot ca

Perhaps, something goes wrong with file associations. Or even with this new subfs stuff. Try to enter your directory in the URL line. What happens? IMHO, the subfs stuff SuSE installs, is a little bit buggy. Make the traditional settings in /etc/fstab. (look at http://portal.suse.com/sdb/en/2004/05/hmeyer_91_revert_from_subfs.html). Since i've done that, my system just run s fine. Have a lot of fun Al
