Maintaining Gnome settings in KDE
Is there a way (without starting gnome-settings-daemon at KDE startup) to maintain Gnome settings while using KDE? I'm using KDE as my default environment, but I've got font settings for gtk apps I want maintained (fonts, styles, etc.). At this time I'm starting the gnome-settings-daemon at KDE start, but was wondering if there was a better way. I'm using SUSE 9.3. -- Cheers, Trey ---- A strong conviction that something must be done is the parent of many bad measures. -- Daniel Webster Linux linux 2.6.11.4-20a-default i686 i686 GNU/Linux 7:17pm up 12:40, 1 user, load average: 0.04, 0.38, 0.68

Hello Trey, I've noticed nobody replied to you. Sorry I can't help but maybe you can help me. Since I changed my monitor I have been getting very small fonts in in my gtk apps. How do you run the gnome-settings-daemon ?? Maybe that can get us both started in the right direction. Bob S.
