Someone suggested that I submit a bug report to a wish list for future versions. He gave me the wrong email address, and even after guessing, I didn't have the right one. I found "Bugzilla" thru Google, and filled out the laborious form, and then it told me my email address was already in use, which is obviously impossible--I'm the only one in the world who has this email address. Also, this site seemed to be for the freebie version available thru the net, which I'm not sure even contains KMail. I have 9.3 Pro. The same conditions I report exist in 10.0 Pro. Is there a different site for "the rest of us?" Is there a simple address that I can send my wish list to, without all this folderol, or should I just forget it? (I would print it out and snail-mail it, if that would be easier. Tell me where to send it, please.) --doug

This is the opensuse's bugzilla. AFAIK there goes the whole development now: <http://en.opensuse.org/Submitting_Bug_Reports> But if you need something changed in KMail, you should go to KDE's bugzilla: <http://bugs.kde.org/> -- -- Svetoslav Milenov (Sunny) Even the most advanced equipment in the hands of the ignorant is just a pile of scrap.

That's not an email address, Pat. It has no @ sign in it. That was the problem with the original responder. I'm beginning to believe that they really don't want any input. --doug

I am not sure you can send bugs to an Email Address. You have to fill up forms et al...which usually can't be done via Email.. that is just to confirm that the Bug is authentic and just that you are simply not flooding the buglist! Have you tried the KMail Web Page? http://kmail.kde.org/ Try the "Bug Tracking: Open Wishes" link on that page. Might be helpful. --

That is correct, no email and no spam that way. You must connect http and log in to report.

And you are making assumptions based on incomplete knowledge, *and* throwing stones. Why make negative comments and put something into a bad light before you know what you are talking about. Someone else reads your comments and believes that you know what you are talking about and passes it on. It becomes a snowball filled with rocks. PLEASE be a little more considerate. The certainly *want* comment. It's one of the ways they improve the product, to your (and my) benefit. -- Patrick Shanahan Registered Linux User #207535 http://wahoo.no-ip.org @ http://counter.li.org HOG # US1244711 Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2

That's so, but it is unfortunate, IMO. And hard on those people using metered internet connections. - -- Cheers, Carlos E. You're a bit vague here. What URL are you talking about?
then it told me my email address was already in use, which is obviously impossible--I'm the only one in the world who has this email address.
Hmm, then let them send your password to *your* email address. I'm not sure if that's possible, but there seems to me nothing wrong with that. ;P Cheers, Leen
