Problem with ping to router (solved)
Hi to everybody. I've finally solved my little X-File with my Linux server and the Cisco ADSL router. After trying a lot of different things, I finally changed one of the network cards of the Linux server. The initial configuration set on my server was two Intel Pro/100+ cards and one Realtek RT8139 card. I removed one of the Intel cards and plugged in another Realtek RT8139. After this hardware change I run YaST and everything started to work. It seems clear that there was some kind of hardware conflict that caused a misconfiguration in the server. But, really, this is the most strange thing I've ever encountered in a Linux server. Thank you very much to Eric Bambach, Ken Schneider, Andrew Kirilenko and Cliff Pankonien, who tried to help me with this problem. Greetings.
