[opensuse] gedit 'Open Location'
In trying to get used to gedit, I find that 'Open Location' either has some trick of which I am not aware, or it DNW properly. Have tried: <hostname> ssh://<hostname> sftp://<hostname> BUT none open the location successfully - all complain with the nice stopsign that '<hostname> is a directory'. What *IS* a location if it isn't a Directory? Have I missed something? I assume you're hit by https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=459744 It's marked as resolved, patch submitted... either you should try to update your system or in worst case the patch is not out yet.
