[opensuse] Problems with Usb Audio device
Hallo everyone! I tried to get a Usb Audio device working: Hp Docking Station 2005pr. This device has (beside some other stuff) a Audio-Out, which i wanted to use. Interestingly the device shows up in yast and dmesg. I tried to install it via Yast using the snb_usb_audio kernel module. In the first case i did not have any outcome, but when i go to the kmix audio setup, i can play a test-sound, which is correctly given out to the Audio-Out of the Docking Station. So my hope is, that i got the Audio working for my linux box. What i have heard is i guess the pulseaudio output. Are there any suggestions to the problem? Is it possible, that i have to setup pulseaudio and alsa in the correct way? Beside: I already tried to google the stuff and also load the module manually into the kernel (modprobe snb_usb_audio). Hopefully some ideas! Thanks – Benjamin D.
