SuSE 6.1 uses glibc 6.0x right?
Yup. Also known as glibc2.0. We're (probably) hoping for
glibc2.1 for SuSE
6.2. Lenz..?
I wasn't going to say anything but I can't help it! Can anyone explain the logic of this numbering system which has confused and tricked me more than once already? How are we to understand that glibc 6.0 is the same as glibc 2.0?
The way I understand it... it's libc6.0 (not glibc6.0) which is the same thing as glibc2.0, to my knowledge there's no such thing as glibc6.0... glibc6.0 was most likely the result of a type by an over-zealous typist. ;-) Cheers Barry Barry McDuling Engineer (Design, Electrical) Email: dulingb@namwater.com.na Webpage: http://users.iafrica.com/b/ba/barrymcd -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/ and the archive at http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html
