[opensuse] IOGear USB DVI

Sounds like you're in a similar boat to me with the thread I started on this list titled "Using a USB-to-VGA (displaylink) adapter with 11.4" As far as I can tell 11.4 has kernel support and sets up the framebuffer for these devices, but getting X.org properly configured I haven't quite acheived. Most of the examples of configs I have found out there are for generated xorg.confs instead of the xorg.conf.d approach we use. On top of that, they don't quite jive with `xrandr`-based configurations setups, which if you're using the GNOME Display applet or something similar to dynamically configure external monitors, chances are you're using. Similar boat, similar frustrations. I'll let you know if the time I waste next weekend trying to set this up works properly. Feels like mid-90's Linux again ;) Cheers - R.
