Hi Stephan, I'm nowhere near an expert, but if you're a home user or even a little bit of a power user, you really can't go wrong with any of them, but, I've been using reiser for 4 years now and not had *any* problems with it. It's fast and safe, that's all I know, heh. I've had only a few times happen that the power went out on me and I didn't have a UPS yet, and reiser kept everything just fine on the system. John
