[opensuse] System resolution sets back to 1024*768
Hello, I'm using Intel Onboard Graphics Accelerator on my G41 chipset. Thing is, the resolution got changed to 1024*768 every time I boot. Is there anything I can do to fis it on 1280*1024? -- I am me, I wanna be me. Which cable type are you using? Does the problem still exist if you switch to
another?
If you're running KDE, start krandrtray. From that you can see available
modes. If 1280x1024 is listed, select it. That may be all you need.
Is this 11.3 without KDE (or with KDE but krandrtray didn't do it)? If it is,
from an X terminal, execute xrandr. Note the name of the output (e.g. VGA1),
and whether 1280x1024 exists in the list. If it does, put in
/etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc 'xrandr --output [e.g. VGA1] --mode

Well, every time I had to do it after boot. Is there any way to set that res as default? -- I am me, I wanna be me.
