I did try to install from Adobe, as I said, and it made no improvement. I do not believe the problem is with Flash itself, because Flash works perfectly on any number of other sites, but not on this one. The only reason that can be possible is that this site is doing something that no other site I have visited is doing. I do not think the problem can be solved without knowing something about what it is that makes this site peculiar. Without that, I think the way to respond to it is to continue to look at these clips with Opera, which admittedly is a clumsy solution. Thanks for your interest.
