Hi, I would badly need the feature also as user to get 'mc' to follow moving between directories. At present with the 100% same settings exclusively root can have all the following: 1. run mc, 2. navigating through directories, 3. after exit mc, still staying in the folder, where we went in at last... The user of course can run mc, navigate through folders, but gets back (after exiting mc) _always_ to the same folder, where mc was started up. So seemingly all of the navigation-job gets forgotten. Any ideas please? As I told everything happens also with completely same mc settings, so probably there is something else taken into consideration I don't know about... (My system is a fully patched SUSE 9.1.) Thanks, Pelibali
