Hi fellows, I am finally buying the system detailed below. CPU : AMD Athlon xp-2400 ; Bus=266 MHz Mobo : ASUS N7 V266 Mobo : Bus=266 MHz : Integrated 5.1 sound and GeForce2MX sitting on NForce chipset from Nvidia LAN/Modem etc separate. 300 Watt power supply. I have a feeling that I shall have to sort some things out by hand while dealing with install of SuSE 8.2 on this system. If any of you have had any issues, please state them now. Else I shall report my success/failure tomorrow. In the end, hope to compile my own kernel. And I wonder whether my compiled kernel will be able to load/use other modules - like NVIDIA itself?
