I'm having a really strange problem with Evolution 1.4.4 ULB. I use Evolution at work and home, basically for the same account - IMAP/smtp. The other day I wasn't able to send email. It just stuck in my inbox for the longest time. I clicked on send and receive and nothing happened. The progress bar just sat on the uploading section. I finally had to cancel. I sent a couple test emails and some would go and some would not, but they all stayed in my inbox. But I was able to send email from my Kmail, which is handles my linuxmail.org account (smtp/pop), without a problem. So today, Anders Johannson mentioned to me to try to setup my work account on Kmail and and setup my Linuxmail account on Evolution and run some tests. So I did. I can send and receive just fine from Kmail on both accounts. I switched over -- Tom Nielsen Neuro Logic Systems, Inc. 805.389.5435 ext.18 www.neuro-logic.com

Forget this. Sorry, I sent it by mistake. It's before I realized what was happening with my firewall. -- Tom Nielsen Neuro Logic Systems, Inc. 805.389.5435 ext.18 www.neuro-logic.com

So, what you're saying is that your problems had nothing to do with Evolution? -- James Ogley, Webmaster, Rubber Turnip james@rubberturnip.org.uk http://www.rubberturnip.org.uk Jabber: riggwelter@myjabber.net Using Free Software since 1994, running GNU/Linux (SuSE 8.2).
