I think there is an option in /etc/rc.config/sendmail.rc.config set SENDMAIL_TYPE="no" to switch this off. I had the same jollity until I figured it out. This stops it from auto generating the sendmail file I think this is correct dids www.diddyland.com

HELP.....
Every time I install a new package that requires SuSEconfig to run, it replaces the sendmail.cf file. Which of course on the mail server is not a good thing. (unless you are trying to get killed by your user base).
It took me a while to figure out what was going on... Now that I have... any Ideas..... statements.... Heckles.... FIXES.....

Just remember that you turned it off if you ever start playing with it again or you'll be kicking yourself trying to figure out why it's not updating it. d> dids d> d> www.diddyland.com d> -- S.Toms - tomas@primenet.com - www.primenet.com/~tomas SuSE Linux v6.3+ - Kernel 2.2.14 -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
