Hi everyone, Recently ( that is if I remember correctly) there was a discussion that sendmail was not secure and qmail was much better. Taking this into consideration I was just thinking to swich to qmail but the below is stopping me. The question is three folds A. Is this possibly a qmail bug related issue B. Some where am I having to send mail ??? C. OR the configuration of the qmail at the suse mail server is having some problems :-(( It is hard to assume this is the case. Any guiadance is appreciated MAILER-DAEMON@suse.com wrote:
Hi. This is the qmail-send program at suse.com. I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses. This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.
<suse-linux-e@suse.com>: This message is looping: it already has my Delivered-To line. (#5.4.6)

I am still trying to understand what is necessary to have my HP4100c function under 6.4 USB. If anyone can give me some detailed instructions it would be deeply appreciated. I have emailed SuSE support on May,30 and haven't heard anything yet.
Usb seems to load on bootup, /dev/usbscanner is there.
TIA
Have you tried to set your scanner via yast system admininstarition ->integrate hardware
would also recommend a visit to sane home page http://www.mostang.com/sane
hope it helps

The only suggestion I can give is... Use postfix instead of sendmail or qmail. Its much more secure, robust and fast. Togan Muftuoglu wrote:
