Hi. Has anyone got ttfont support working from xfree4.0? I can't find any documentation on it in my 7.0 upgrade manuals. Currently I'm using xfstt. If there are no advantages in using xfree then I'm happy to stick with it. Any comments anyone? I just did it five minutes ago and used the following how-to http://www.firstnethou.com/gz/xfsft_HOW-TO.html Of course I did not download the true type fonts since I had them already running with xfstt . So I just started using it from creating the from part II A and followed there on. The fonts do look better now (maybe because of XFree 4.01 or because of the xfst ) Just remember to disable the xfstt start in the rc.config so two font servers do not collide each other Hope it helps -- Togan Muftuoglu toganm@turk.net 100% MS FREE Absolutely no component of Microsoft was used in the generation or posting of this e-mail. Well this is to say you can use the xfstt also all I did was to change the FontPath line FontPath "unix:/7101" This was something not working with the above with Xfree 3.3.6 and it was unix:/1. Now it works with the above so feel free to use which ever suits you. And It is Xfree 4.01 making the fonts look better I would vote now Togan Muftuoglu started typing into the keyboard and wrote:
