Have you checked these http://susefaq.sourceforge.net/xp_linux.html http://susefaq.sourceforge.net/winxp_dual.html -- Togan Muftuoglu Unofficial SuSE FAQ Maintainer http://dinamizm.ath.cx
I put SuSE 8.2 on to a new dell laptop that had xp preinstalled - left the dell partition at the beginning, created a fat32 partition for share ( I unfortunately have to use xp on occassion for work -- groupwise :-{ ) updated the kernel via YOU and all works like a dream F

I have thought seriously about a dual-boot situation since I pretty much have to have one windoze-xp box available for work ...So I networked a notebook running Linux so that I can write to the NTFS w/impunity, when necessary. I can't afford to be crippled in that way. -- ...CH SuSE On A Toshi Is All U Need 2 Drive U Crazy. Linux user# 313696 Linux box# 199365
