[SLE] A editor where I can copy and paste columns
Hello Could someone suggest me an editor that can copy and paste columns in addition to lines. If Xemacs is one of editors please tell me how. Thanks a lot. For any editor question, XEmacs always has an answer! Hit escape, then drag the mouse to mark the rectangle. The Ctrl-x,r,k to cut the rectangle, and Ctrl-x,r,y to yank it back. I don't know about a copy - look for "rectangle" in the online help.

You might try using nedit. It is included in the current SuSE distro. To cut/paste a column, hold down the control key and mark the block you want to cut with the mouse. Alan mendes wrote:
