Would the scanpci show who/what/where about the the integrated sound on my system? I run scanpc and I also cat /proc/pci try to see if it's in there, but I don't see anything looks like a sound device. I'm trying to get all information needed to configure the sound. I've been told that a standard SB driver will work, but I guess I need a little more information than that. Do two things; lspci and lspnp. Between those two tools, you will be able to a) determine whether it's PCI or ISA (many integrated chipsets in the last two years are still ISA), and b) what kind of chip you're looking for. -- -=|JP|=- "Why, oh, why didn't I take the blue pill?"
