Ehere else to download OpenOffice 2.0
Hi, I am trying to download SuSE's version of OpeOffice 2.0 from the dollowing site: ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/projects/OpenOffice.org/9.3-i386/2.0.0-0.2/OpenOffice_org-2.0.0-0.2.i586.rpm I've been trying for several days now but never got past about 25% before getting disconnected. What I do get comes very slowly, often just stopping for a few minutes. Is there another place to get this? I looked at several mirrors but none have this directory. I do have the official version from Open Office to install but I was hoping to get SUSE's version. Bob
Try: ftp://ftp-linux.cc.gatech.edu/pub/suse/projects/OpenOffice.org/9.3-i386/2.0.0-0.2/ On 11/2/05, Robert Paulsen <robert@paulsen.homeip.net> wrote:

I released yesterday the online update for this - download it via YOU, you should get the much smaller delta RPM from any mirror, Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger, aj@suse.de, http://www.suse.de/~aj SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126

Uau! Thanks :-) Delta packages are much nicer on modem users. Still, it says "27.6" Mb... I hope it solves the strange crashes I had with OpenOffice_org-1.9.125-4.1. I'll use the ocassion to ask something else. I'm trying to determine the exact list of delta files to download, manually with wget (it would be very nice if YOU could generate the list in a file), because as I use a standard modem line I have to break the download over several days, I can't keep the line busy for so long. I think the list I need is: 24170474 OpenOffice_org-1.9.125_2.0.0-4.1_1.1.i586.delta.rpm 4552449 OpenOffice_org-es-1.9.125_2.0.0-4.1_1.1.i586.delta.rpm 43577 OpenOffice_org-gnome-1.9.125_2.0.0-4.1_1.1.i586.delta.rpm 158271 OpenOffice_org-kde-1.9.125_2.0.0-4.1_1.1.i586.delta.rpm 24896 OpenOffice_org-Quickstarter-1.0-471.3_471.4.i586.delta 5417 ooqstart-0.8.3-266_266.4.i586.delta.rpm Where delta version ...1.9.125_2.0.0-4.1_1.1 I gather means from 1.9.125 to 2.0.0, correct? What does it mean the "4.1_1.1" then? Ah, perhaps from release 4.1 to release 1.1... how complicated :-} - -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.0 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Made with pgp4pine 1.76 iD8DBQFDaieqtTMYHG2NR9URAnNUAJ4yr4hy8UUwThX2gI78iCFhNw8k+QCbBblP 4WDwpXndEc4dV3Hr3/X96yY= =ao4i -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
