If someone sends me a pdf file, the only option is to save it then open it. How can I get acrobat (acroread) to open a pdf in Evolution? Thanks -- Tom Nielsen Neuro Logic Systems 805.389.5435 x18 www.neuro-logic.com

I went into gnome-control-center, selected Advanced then "File Types and programs". I then clicked on Documents-Published Materials-PDF Documents. Once that window opened, I changed the default action to Custom, then selected acroread from /usr/X11R6/bin/acroread. BAM! Its working. If any of this is wrong....blame Curits, he told me to post it. ;-) Tom -- Tom Nielsen Neuro Logic Systems 805.389.5435 x18 www.neuro-logic.com
