Sorry about the paniced [sic] waste of bandwidth earlier, the problem was solved by reinstalling the nvidia drivers

SuSE8.1 was running KDE 3.0.1 without any problems.

Thuis evening I upgraded my laptop and my linux tower to KDE 3.1.3. No problems with the laptop, but when I go to open X on the tower I get the error message:

could not start kdeinit check your installation

What do I do?

Amy help will be much appreciated, as I really really prefer KDE over Gnome.
