RE: [SLE] KDE 3.x or Gnome 2.0?
In any of these environments, how can you: 1. Get the 'windows' key to open the 'start' menu. 2. Program the extra buttons on a four-button mouse. CR

You can use the Windows key to open the start menu in Icewm by setting this option in your $HOME/.icewm/preferences file: # Support win95 keyboard keys (Penguin/Meta/Win_L,R shows menu) Win95Keys=1 # 0/1 The default is 0, so you have to change it and restart icewm. You can restart it without shutting down by using the restart option on the ctrl-alt-del dialog box. Most functions that can be tied to a mouse button can use any button you want (up to 21 buttons!). The first button is 0, the second button is 1, etc. I have not tested this above 3 buttons, tho. Best Regards, Keith -- LPIC-2, MCSE, N+ Right behind you, I see the millions Got spam?
