[opensuse] Language dictionaries
This may be OT, but I don't know where to direct it otherwise: I had, up until a few days ago, an icon that led me to Langenscheidts dictionary that allowed a word in either language to be translated into the other. It now seems to be gone. (In this case, German.) Is this an internet problem, or is Langengsheidts gone from the net--or perhaps out of business? I'd like to know. How does one find out? --doug -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Ask Google? I see https://en.langenscheidt.com/english-german/ There is plenty of such sites though - dict.cc, dict.leo.org, pons.com, linguee.de etc. Many more. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (1.6°C) http://www.hostsuisse.com/ - virtual servers, made in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Oh yes, it's _very_ good, but too cumbersome when you just need a single word. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (1.8°C) http://www.dns24.ch/ - your free DNS host, made in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

I found that my icon works today. I guess their site was down for some reason. Thank you to all who replied with suggestions. --doug -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
