[SuSE Linux] [WM] WM 0.50.2 RPM for SuSE 6.0 available (fwd)
Thought some of you might be interested in this. It's for 6.0 though and is glibc based, but I know we have German list members who are probably using 6.0 now. Cheers. -M ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date: Thu, 14 Jan 1999 19:42:48 +0100 From: Martin Dietze <herbert@sparc20.fh-wedel.de> To: wmaker@linuxcenter.com Subject: [WM] WM 0.50.2 RPM for SuSE 6.0 available Reply-To: Hello, I've just uploaded a few WM related RPMs for SuSE Linux 6.0 to ftp.windowmaker.org, including Window Maker 0.50.2 and a dockable asclock (the asclock shipping with SuSE is not dockable). Due to my excessive use of wildcards <g> there also slipped thru the WindowMaker-data RPM which is already on the server, sorry. For all non-SuSE Linux users: The binaries are glibc-based ix86 executables and may therefore run on other glibc-based Linux systems. However the directory structure used in the WindowMaker 0.50.2 RPM was chosen to fit into a SuSE system and might differ from the standards used by other distributions. If you are located in Europe you may have a faster connection if using my private ftp directory: <A HREF="http://www.fh-wedel.de/pub/fh-wedel/staff/di/wmaker/00-index.html"><A HREF="http://www.fh-wedel.de/pub/fh-wedel/staff/di/wmaker/00-index.html</A">http://www.fh-wedel.de/pub/fh-wedel/staff/di/wmaker/00-index.html</A</A>> See the file /incoming/SuSE-6.0-Binaries.txt for more details on the RPMs. Cheers, Herbert -- Dipl.Ing.
