Yast SuSE 6.4 doesn't detect any scsi on my system. I have Mustek 600 II CD which came with it's own card (maybe not normal scsi?) SANE finds no devices as well: scanimage --list devices gets nothing. I couldn't find any help in sane site nor in man pages. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. If it comes with its own card, you need to load the correct SCSI driver - check the card for the SCSI chip. You should then see the device in the output of "cat /proc/scsi/scsi". David wrote: You will to load the driver of the scsi controller. If it is a pci card you can see the card by running "lspci -v" that should let you know which driver to load. You will need to edit /etc/modules.conf to modify the alias to use the right driver. Have fun, Stephen
