OOo 1.1 error on opening sxc file
Hi, I have 'developed' a spreadsheet system that allows me to keep track of my online time, costs and MB in/out on a yearly basis, from data exported from the kppp log viewer ie I have one file for 2003 and another for 2004. A single line, of 4 columns, in the 2003 spreadsheet is linked to the 2004 one so that the yearly averages can be carried across from year to year. Each time I open the 2004 spreadsheet the averages from 2003 are also included and hence the 2003 spreadsheet also opens. This is something I have accepted BUT in the last couple of days the averages have not been imported from 2003, nor has the 2003 spreadsheet been opened as OOo reports an error as listed below: Error loading document <doc path and name> Read error Format error discovered in sub document styles.xml at 2.39117{row,col) Each year has approx 16 sheets in it and those containing data only have
100 rows of information in 8 columns.
Where do I start in solving this OOo error? I would of course prefer not to lose the data for 2003. I have tried rebooting and then opening the sxc file with no luck. I have looked at OOo help for 'Validity of Cell Contents' and others, also with no help. Ideas I have asked the same question on the OOo Users mailing list, so don't all rush to answer. :) Thanks to those who did though.

I've got a HP 2110 and that's completely supported by SUSE. I doubt that 1210 is not fully supported, maybe they mean you have to install hpsys or what ever it is called, but that's on the SUSE disk anyway. Nearly all HP printers are supported under Linux. http://hpinkjet.sourceforge.net/productsmf.php The PSC 1200 series is supported. HP has a very active Linux program. They also have many computer systems that they certify on Linux. -- Jerry Feldman <gaf@blu.org> Boston Linux and Unix user group http://www.blu.org PGP key id:C5061EA9 PGP Key fingerprint:053C 73EC 3AC1 5C44 3E14 9245 FB00 3ED5 C506 1EA9
hello group
i m looking to buy an easy to use printer - scanner - copier . HP 1210 is the first bet on my cards but suse hardware database says its only partially supported. I have just connected an HP psc 2310 and it works well no
problems with setup using KDE 3.3, SuSE 9.1 However I had made earlier enquiries on this list and the HP psc 1210 was reported as working great. You may want to check out the linuxprinting.org site and the links there to the HP site for linux. I am using an HP PSC 2175. I chose it after doing my research, and it works completely in 9.1. Printer works, scanner works, of course copying, even the built in card reader (though not automatically). I can recommend that you start a new thread. PLEASE DO asking the question as opposed to stealing my thread about a completely different topic.
