SuSEconfig is so much nicer and simpler. If you REALLY want Linuxconf... go suffer with RedHat. - Herman

I agree completly. I recently installed Suse 7.0 and then installed Linuxconf for easy handling of some systemtasks. It scewed up my system to the point where it couldn't even boot. Luckily I hadn't done more that a basic installation of Suse so I just formatted and reinstalled. I'm now using webmin and have no problems at all with it. Olle Viksten

It may be possible, but if it is, it will be extremely difficult. I wouldn't bother. YaST is better ;-) If you have the skills to get linuxconf running on SuSE, you should be adept enough to do everything that linuxconf does by hand. The init scripts are just too different between the two distros. Bye, Chris -- __ _ -o)/ / (_)__ __ ____ __ Chris Reeves /\\ /__/ / _ \/ // /\ \/ / ICQ# 22219005 _\_v __/_/_//_/\_,_/ /_/\_\
