[opensuse] Where can I find the openSuSE standard ./configure option directory locations??
Listmates, While on the subject of package configuration, where can I find a list of what the standard opensuse ./configure options and directories are? Something like: configure '--prefix=/usr' \ '--datadir=/usr/share/php5' \ '--mandir=/usr/share/man' \ '--bindir=/usr/bin' \ '--with-libdir=lib' \ <snip> Yes I know that --datadir, --libdir, etc.. will change depending on the package and i686 v. x86_64, but others like --mandir should be constant. Is there such a list somewhere? Also, is there an update for the rpm packaging conventions for kde4? Something like an update to: http://en.opensuse.org/SUSE_Package_Conventions/Specific_Packages Thanks. -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E. Isn't it part of LSB ? /Per -- Per Jessen, Zürich (9.1°C) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

You can also just use %configure which then gets filled in by the RPM Macro automatically ... and overwrite the stuff you want to change afterwards. e.g. %configure --datadir=/usr/share/php5 Ciao, Marcus -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

And if you really want to know what the options are, try rpm --eval '%configure' -- Michal HRUSECKY SUSE LINUX, s.r.o openSUSE Boosters Team Lihovarska 1060/12 PGP 0xFED656F6 19000 Praha 9 mhrusecky[at]suse.cz Czech Republic http://michal.hrusecky.net http://www.suse.cz
