[SuSE Linux] Booting SuSE and BeOS; I need some help here
Hello there,
I just installed BeOS R4 on my system, which also has win98 and SuSE Linux on it. The bootmanager works fine
when I boot win98 or BeOS but not when I want to boot SuSE. When I try to boot SuSE I get the following message;
Loading SuSE
Boot sector signature not found
I should mention that I reinstalled SuSE after I installed the BeOS, so I don't know whether that might be the cause
of my problem. When I configured and installed Bootman, however, all partitions were readily recognized. My
windows partitions are recognized as dos and my linux partitions are recognized as linux native and linux swap, so
there's no problem there .
I'd really appreciate it if anyone could help me out here. -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/ and the archive at http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html
