Hi, Thanks for your reply. The question is, now do I have to recompile the kernel again or is their something else I can do? I have been reading some real techy stuff by O'Reilly that says I shouldn't have to recompile, but I don't fully understand it. Thanks, Dallam _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com.

I'm no O'Reilly "techy", but if you left PPP out (both in kernel and as module), I guess that you have to recompile... right, gurus? Hope it helps, Alvaro Novo SuSE 7.1 -=- Kernel 2.4.2-4GB -=- KDE 2.1.1 12:33am up 4 days, 2:08, 4 users, load average: 0.11, 0.06, 0.01
